HIBRIDA is a film production company, founded and directed by Spanish filmmaker David Muñoz. It has received more than 100 film awards and it has been selected over 500 times to participate in international film festivals. Among them, the Goya Award for Best Short Documentary for FLOWERS OF RWANDA, the Jury Award for Best Documentary in the Aljazeera Documentary Film Festival for THE INFINITE JEST, the Film Critics FIPRESCI Award at DOK Leipzig for its feature documentary ANOTHER NIGHT ON EARTH, also winner of the NHK TV Presidential Award and Best Feature Documentary Film Award in Guanajuato International Film Festival, the largest film festival in Mexico; Its short fiction film, ABOUT NDUGU, was selected for competition at the 63rd Berlinale Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin and it was awarded Best Andalusian Short Film at Almeria en Corto International Short Film Festival. Hide & Seek, selected for official competition at the 65 Berlinale, won the Biznaga de Plata, Jury Award to Best Short Documentary at Festival de Cine de Malaga, the Caracola Award to Best Short Documentary at Alcances Festival de Cine Documental de Cadiz. Its last short film, A FAREWELL TO ALL THAT, won the Best Short Documentary Award at SEFF Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla and the ASECAN (Andalusian Film Writers Association) Award to Best Short Documentary 2018.
